Obituary Condolences

HARLON P. WATTS, 83, OF PHOENIXVILLE Harlon P. Watts, 83, of Phoenixville, died on Monday, October 31, 2011 in his home. He was married for 60 years to his loving wife Arline (Favinger) Watts, of Phoenixville. Born in New Haven, CT he was the son of the late Harlon H. and Elizabeth (Priest) Watts. Harlon attended Harbour Elementary in Bradford, CT, St. Ann's Elementary in Phoenixville, and graduated from Phoenixville High School Class of 1947. He was a retiree from B.F. Goodrich after 32 years in Quality Control. In his youth he raised and raced Pigeons with the Phoenixville Pigeon Club, and was a lifetime member of the Black Rock Boat club. Harlon served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Surviving in addition to his wife are his stepsister, Claire Gotaskie of Phoenixville; brothers-in-law, Wilbur S. Favinger (Shirley) of Kirkwood, PA, and Mervin Anderson of Elizabethtown, and nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service in the Devlin-Rosmos-Kepp Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11 a.m. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions in his name may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church, 502 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460. Arline would like to express her appreciation and to say "Thank You" to our Neighbor's and Friends for all of their kindness, and for always being there for us.
