Helen R. (Heffner) Stetzler, 88, of Lyon Station, died Jan. 1, 2013 in Kutztown Manor where she was a patient since Friday. She was the widow of Grant J. Stetzler who died Sept. 17, 2006. |
Born in Lyon Station, she was a daughter of the late Selas F. and Gertie H. (Hollenbach) Heffner.
She was a member of Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, Rockland Twp.
She worked as a sewing machine operator at the former Fleetwood Blouse Factory for several years.
Helen was a life member of Order of the Eastern Star, East Penn Chapter 336, Kutztown.
Survivors: Daughter, Jane L. (Stetzler) Leibensperger companion of Kerry L. Meitzler, Kutztown, Son Steven G., Sr. husband of Diane E. (Jones) Stetzler, Lyon Station. Other survivors include brothers, Francis wife of Evelyn (Mock) Heffner, Denver, PA and Malcolm L. Heffner, Basking Ridge, N.J.; Grandchildren, Marlowe G., Jr. husband of Erin C. (Konta) Leibensperger, Eric M. husband of Elizabeth (Gardiner) Leibensperger, Victoria D. Stetzler and Steven G. Stetzler, Jr.; great grandchildren, Alison E., Ryan M. and Jack M. Leibensperger.
She was predeceased by brothers, Mark, John, Harold, and Walter Heffner and also a grandson Brian Leibensperger.
Funeral Services are Saturday, Jan. 5, at 10:30 a.m. from Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, 16 Fleetwood Rd., Fleetwood. The Rev. Cheryl F. Meinschein officiating. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Dryville.
