Obituary Condolences

HORACE E. FORAKER, 75, OF GILBERTSVILLE Horace E. Foraker, 75, of Gilbertsville, PA, died on Monday October 7, 2013 in Sanatoga Center of Sanatoga, PA. He was the husband of Miriam J. (Livergood) Foraker. Born in Norristown, PA on December 24, 1937, he was the son of the late Frank and Elsie (Fields) Foraker. Horace has lived in Gilberstville for 38 years. He worked as a Supervisor with Penn Co Products of Oaks, PA, from where he retired. An avid listener of Pastor Arnold Murry of Shepards Chapel, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening, bird watching and listening to Country & Western music. He most enjoyed being with his family and he was a great husband, father and provider. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Horace Foraker Jr., Limerick, PA, and Mark Foraker, Gilbertsville, PA; six grandchildren: Jennifer, Horace, III, Katrina, Casey, Kelsi, Nicole; four great-grandchildren: Samantha, Amy, Nicholas, Aidain; sister: Virginia Callison, Bridgeport, PA; brothers, George "Dick" Foraker, Norristown, PA, and John Foraker, Spring City, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Thomas E. Foraker, three sisters Blanche Wampole, Elsie Sknapnit and Mary Jane Beard, and six brothers Joseph, Frank, Leonard, David, Leroy and Paul Foraker. His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home 224 West Main Street, Trappe. Friends may call on Friday morning from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home 224 West Main Street Trappe PA. Interment in Limerick Garden Of Memories, Limerick, PA.
