Irene A. Yashura Obituary
IRENE A. YASHURA, 91, OF PHOENIXVILLE Irene A. (Ullman) Yashura, 91, of Phoenixville, passed away on April 29, 2014 at Parkhouse Providence Pointe. She was the loving wife to the late Joseph Yashura. Born in Collegeville on May 10, 1922, she was a daughter of the late George A. and Anna (Deschler) Ullman. She was a graduate of Collegeville High School and worked for 20 years at the West Company in Phoenixville after raising a family of four children. Mrs. Yashura was a member of St. Basil the Great Parish in Kimberton. She was a homemaker who enjoyed playing bingo, watching the Phillies and Eagles, and reading. The greatest joy of her life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by a son, Thomas Yashura of East Coventry, husband of Bonnie; two daughters, Joan of East Coventry, wife of Donald Wallence, and Mary Ann Burcin of Phoenixville; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and great-great grandson; and two sisters, Eva Kramer of Phoenixville and Mary Gauger of Pottstown. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son, John W. Yashura, and his wife Joan, a granddaughter, Cindy Marie Cannuli, two sisters, Evelyn Gamble and Betty Sabol, and five brothers; Albert, Lewis, Norman, Richard and George. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Basil the Great Church, 2340 Kimberton Road, Kimberton, PA 19442 at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 5, 2014 with Rev. Gary T. Pacitti officiating. Entombment will follow at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Basil the Great Church at the above address or to Parkhouse Providence Pointe Resident's Fund, 1600 Black Rock Road, Royersford, PA 19468.
