Obituary Condolences

James B. Gresh, 68, of Boyertown, husband of Sharon A. (Dougherty) Gresh, died Saturday at St. Joseph Medical Center.
Born in Little Oley, he was a son of the late Baker T. Gresh and the late Sarah S. (Bartman) Gresh Hall.
He attended Boyertown High School and entered the Army right after High School. He was a supervisor for Dana Corporation in Pottstown for over 31 years. James was involved in the community for many years coaching Boyertown Little League Baseball. He had a passion for hunting and fishing. He served in the Army during Vietnam. He attended New Life Bible Fellowship Church in Oley. James was a longtime volunteer for Gilbertsville Fire Company and also a member of Boyertown Rod and Gun Club.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are five sons, James D. Gresh, husband of Sherri, of Oley, Mark A. Gresh, fiancee of Rebecca, of Wyomissing, John M. Gresh, of Douglassville, Jason D. Gresh, husband of Christa, of Gilbertsville, and Eric J. Gresh, husband of Kristi, of Bechtelsville. He is also survived by six grandsons, Jimmy, Joshua, J.T., Caden, Josiah and Brennan, four granddaughters, Taryn, Hannah, Emily and Miah, four sisters, Mildred Keller, of Oley, Lenore Endy, of Pottstown, Esther Kulp, of Perkiomenville, and Ruth Ann Wade, of Gilbertsville. Additionally, he's survived by 23 nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one sister, Dorothy Renninger, and one brother, Jacob Gresh.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at New Life Bible Fellowship Church, 2960 W. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, Pa. A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the church and from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Boyertown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Life Bible Fellowship, (Put in Memo-Faith Promise Offering), 2960 West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown, PA 19512, to honor James' passion to his Lord and Savior.
