JEAN MILOS OF EAST NORRITON Jean (Ciociola) Milos of East Norriton, PA beloved wife of the late John M. Milos passed away on May 5, 2014 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law surrounded by her loving family. Born in Norristown on March 16, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Rachel (Picharuce) Ciociola. Mrs. Milos was a graduate of Norristown High School and a life-long member of Holy Saviour Church. She was a sportswear buyer for the former Novell's of Norristown. In 1964, she and her husband opened Milo's Country House in Limerick, PA known for fine dining. Milo's received an award from Bon Appetit Magazine for their signature recipe, Chicken Michelle. Upon retirement from the restaurant, she enjoyed working as a Tipstaff at the Montgomery County Courthouse retiring in February, 2012. Mrs. Milos was an avid sports fan, lover of good books and also enjoyed creating beautiful needlepoint pieces which her family and friends treasure. Her great grandchildren looked forward to her "GiGi" cookies that she loved to make for them. She is survived by her loving daughter, Barbara (Michael) Mulroy of Collegeville; three grandchildren, Jean (Hayden) Tewell of Collegeville, Michael (Diana) Mulroy, Jr. of Worcester, and Joseph Mulroy of Bridgeport. Treasured "GiGi" to Lydia and John Tewell and Walter Mulroy. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her husband John and parents she was predeceased by brothers Charles and Amerigo Ciociola, sisters Agnes Morrione, Lydia Ciociola, Esther Pascale, and Gilda Rodriguez. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Friday, May 9 at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Saviour Church, Norristown. Entombment in Patrick's mausoleum. Friends may call Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Volpe Funeral Home 707 W. Germantown Pike at Whitehall Road, East Norriton.
