JOSEPH G. PERENI, 69, OF POTTSTOWN Joseph G. Pereni, 69, husband of Sandra L. (Ingham) Pereni of Pottstown, PA, died Sunday, September 30, 2012 at his residence. Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Mary A. (Gabona) Pereni. Joe had received a B.S. degree in Accounting from Mount St. Mary's University, Emmitsburg, Maryland. He was the owner and operator of the former General Supply Co. and was a current partner in the Wellsford Cabinetry Company in Stowe, PA . Joe had served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was a member of the former Pottstown Jaycees. He was a member of the Pottstown Building Industries Exchange. He was a member of St. Aloysius R.C.C., Beech & Hanover streets in Pottstown, where he was also a Eucharistic Minister. Joe was active in fund raising for the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center in both the signature page ad and the charity ball. Joe was an automotive and classic car enthusiast. Surviving with his wife are two children, Joseph Gregory Pereni Jr., husband of Michelle of Pottstown, and Amy E. Pereni, companion of Glendon Spence Sr. of Pottstown, and three grandchildren, Glendon Marcus Spence, Alexander Gregory Pereni and Joseph John Pereni. Joe was also survived by a cousin, Jack Brovak and his wife, Arlene of Trenton, NJ and their three children Renee, John and P.J. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius R.C.C. on Friday, October 5, 2012 at Noon. Interment will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove Township. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 - Noon at the Gathering Center of St. Aloysius R.C.C. Warker-Troutman Funeral Home 726 East High Street, Pottstown, is in charge of arrangements.
