K. ELAINE GREBE, 88, OF BOYERTOWN K. Elaine (Brant) Grebe, 88, of Chestnut Knoll, Boyertown, formerly of Princeton Ave., Pottstown, wife of John C. Grebe,Sr. died Monday at Chestnut Knoll, Boyertown. Born in Linfield, PA, she was a daughter of the late George E. Brant and the late Rose A. (Thomas) Brant. She was a office worker for the former Occidental Chemical Company, Pottstown retiring in 1987 and the former Kinsey Distillary, Linfield. Mrs. Grebe was a member of Zion's United Church of Christ, Pottstown and a former member of Linfield United Church of Christ. She was a Sunday School teacher for sixty two years and received an award from the Pennsylvania Sunday School Association, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels for twenty years, was a former Sunday School Superintendent & Elder at Zion's UCC and a former Deacon, Elder and assistant organist at Linfield UCC. Surviving besides her husband of seventy years is a son John C. Grebe, Jr., husband of Susan Grebe, Eagleville; two daughters Kay L., wife of Philip Bush, Gilbertsville, Janice M., wife of Philip A. Tyson, Gilbertsville; a sister Berniece Kulp, Lansdale; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother George W. Brant, and a great grandson Chad Stevens. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. on Friday from Zion's United Church of Christ 209 Chestnut St., Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Linda Higgins. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories. There will be a viewing Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
