KARL KUEHLMUSS, 82, OF PHOENIXVILLE Karl Kuehlmuss, age 82, husband of Frieda (Lechner) Kuehlmuss, of Phoenixville, departed Sunday, August 26th, 2012 from the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Gunzelhofen, Germany, he was a son of the late Georg and Margaret (Wagner) Kuehlmuss. He attended school in Germany. In 1969 he came to America. Karl was a master upholsterer. He worked for himself and the Tulip Company in Philadelphia for over 20 years before retiring in 1992. He was a member of the St. Basil the Great Roman Catholic Church in Kimberton. Mr. Kuehlmuss was also a member of the Valley Forge Signal Seekers for many years. In addition to his wife of 60 years, Mr. Kuehlmuss is survived by one daughter, Gabriele, wife of John H. Tornetta, of Pottstown; one sister, Margaret Huber, of Germany; two grandsons, Jason R. Jacobs, husband of Katie Jacobs, of Austin, TX; Jonathan A. Jacobs, husband of Mandy Jacobs, of Charlotte, NC, one great-grandson, Trenton C. Jacobs. Mr. Kuehlmuss was predeceased by one brother, Georg Kuehlmuss. Karl treasured his family, and enjoyed being part of all aspects of his grandchildren's lives. His dedication will never be forgotten. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass at the St. Basil the Great RC Church, 2300 Kimberton Road, Kimberton, PA 19442 on Thursday, August 30th, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. Officiating will be the Rev. Gary T. Pacitti. Burial will be in the Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 9:30 - 10:15 A.M. Thursday morning at the Church.
