KATHRYN B. POREMBA, 84, OF POTTSTOWN Kathryn B. (Stauffer) Poremba, 84, of Pottstown, died on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at Manor Care, Pottstown. She was the wife of Albin G. Poremba, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Maurice Stauffer and Rosa (Bieber) Stauffer. Mrs. Poremba was a 1945 graduate of Pottstown High School. Surviving in addition to her loving husband, Albin G. Poremba, are one grandchild, Allison Hicks of Pottsville, and two great-grandchildren, Cayla Crespo and Anthony Crespo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Yost; brother, Sam Stauffer, and sister, Leone Wilhelm. Funeral service will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Zion's United Church of Christ, 209 Chestnut St., Pottstown, PA., 19464.
