Kinsiana Hataloski Bechtel, 69, of Pottstown, Pa., died Saturday evening after a 3-year battle with cancer. |
Born on the South Pacific island of Koror, Palau, in the Western Carolina Islands, she was the daughter of the late Akiko Wong and Tmewang Ueherudl.
Kinsiana and her husband, Donald, and their four children lived in different countries all over the world before finally settling in Stowe, Pa., in 1974. She was employed for the former Mrs. Smith's Pies for 21 years and also the John Middleton Company in Royersford, retiring in 2012.
She is survived by her daughters, Diana Lee, wife of Edward Fremmerlid of Pottstown, with whom she resided, as well as Deborah Ann, wife of James Paul, of Marysville, Pa., and her sons, Donald L., husband of Linda, Hataloski, of Bowie, Md., and John C. Hataloski, of Laurel, Md.
She is also survived by Andrew Edwards, fiancé of Samantha Thomas, of Douglassville, Amber N., wife of Marco Fluri, of Deland, Fla., Angel N. Hataloski, of Mt. Airy, Md., and Allison K. Hataloski, also of Mt. Airy.
Additionally, Kinsiana is survived by her great-grandchildren, Madison Elizabeth and Kinsiana Marie, of Deland, Fla., and her sister, Erica Elechuus, wife of Peter, of Melekeok, Palau.
She is predeceased by her daughter: Mariana Wong.
Kinsiana is survived by four grandchildren from Koror, Palau: Jedi Sasao, Bairiich Sasao, Tyler Renqulben, and Tyrone Renqulben.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Friday, Oct. 26, at 12 noon at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets, Spring City, Pa. The Rev. Donald Eisenhauer will officiate. Burial will be private. Her viewing will be held Friday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
