Obituary Condolences

LAWRENCE F. McKEE, 58, OF SCHWENKSVILLE Lawrence F. McKee, 58, of Schwenksville, and formerly Conshohocken, died on Sunday, June 17, 2012. He was born in Philadelphia on July 16, 1953, son of the late Francis McKee and Jane Kyuf McKee Ippolito. He was the beloved husband of Linda L. McCarron McKee for 36 years. He graduated Norristown High School Class of 1971. Larry, a man who always loved his country, was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. He was employed as a supervisor for Stroehmann Bakeries for 27 years, a salesman for Ehrlich Pest Control and caretaker of the Mary Wood Park house in Conshohocken. He was a member of the American Legion, a member of Lower Frederick St. Vincent DePaul Society, an assistant coach for the Boyertown Midget Baseball League, a Special Olympics Coach, a 300 bowler at Facenda Whitaker Lanes, a diehard Phillies fan, an avid pool player for the fire company league and Markley Billiards, and a former board member of Plymouth Swim Club. He is survived by his loving daughter, Colleen, wife of William Paris, of Perkiomenville; his special daughter, Cindy, wife of Joseph Epright of Plymouth; his stepmother, Mary McKee; two stepbrothers, James and Joseph DiMezza; five grandchildren, Lennon (also his best friend), Lynda, Abigail, Tyler and Alena; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Adolph Ippolito and his sister, Diane Cantrell. Relatives and friends may pay respects on Friday morning, June 22, from 9:30-11 a.m. in the Chapel at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA 19468. A service will commence at 11 a.m. followed by interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Larry's memory may be made to: BASD Larry McKee Baseball Fund, 911 Montgomery Avenue, Boyertown, PA 19512.
