LEROY J. "BUCK" FORAKER, 71, OF NORRISTOWN Leroy J. "Buck" Foraker of Norristown, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2011. He was 71 years old. Born March 19, 1940 in Norristown, he was the son of the late Frank and Elsie (Fields) Foraker and the beloved husband of the late Jeanne (Saylor) Forbes. Buck enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid gun enthusiast. He was a skilled craftsman and was known as a "jack of all trades". Most of all Buck enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren - especially going out to eat. Buck is survived by his six step-children, Thelma, Billie Marie, William, Russell, Ruth and Janet; as well as 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Buck is also survived by four brothers and two sisters, George, John, Paul, Horace, Judy and Virginia. He was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters and one grandchild. Relatives and friends are invited to Buck's Life Celebration service on Friday December 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Boyd-Horrox of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, 1-800-GIVNISH. His funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
