Marjorie Shaner Obituary

Marjorie A. Shaner, 83, of Pottstown Marjorie A. (Gehring) Shaner, 83, of Pottstown, widow of George G. Shaner, died Monday December 27, 2010 at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late George and Edna Gehring. Surviving is one son, Daniel C. Shaner and his wife Peggy, Breinigsville; three brothers, Peter Gehring, Lancaster; Robert and George Gehring of Reading; one sister Betty Moyer, Topton; grandchildren, Alisha, Chad, Justin and Nathan, and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King Street, Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Dr. Barry L. Moyer. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Pottstown. There will be a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown. Our web site exists to serve the friends and family of the deceased.
