Merlyn L. Tooley, 84, of Hatfield, Pa., and formerly of Jim Thorpe, Pa., died on Friday, November 1, 2013 in Lansdale Hospital. He was the husband of the late Bonnie (Scott) Tooley and the late Patricia Ann (Winnick) Tooley.|
Born in Mountain Grove, Mo., he was the son of the late Ollie and Ella (Hodgson) Tooley.
He worked as a Manager for Certain Teed Corporation until his retirement. He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Phoenixville, Pa.
He was the beloved father of his son, David, husband of Patty Tooley of Hatfield, Pa.; and his daughter, Janice, wife of Karl Bauer of St. George, Utah; his grandchildren, Julie Bauer and Brian Bauer, husband of Jennifer.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dennis Tooley.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, Pa, on Wednesday, November 6, 2013. Panachyda Service is at 11 a.m. with Rev. Stepan Bilyk officiating.
Burial will follow in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Phoenixville.
A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Living Branches Foundation, Dock Meadows Sharing Fund, 275 Dock Drive, Lansdale, PA 19446.
