Mitch, many years ago my parents added another son to our family and now heaven gained an amazing angel. You have touched so many lives and your heart was enormous. No one could ever take your place. Thank you for everything that you have done for my family, especially bringing Anya into our lives. I have gained a sister. I promise you that we will get her through this time of sorrow. We are going to miss you saying to mom "shut up or I'm going to throw you into the bay!" You will be missed at are holiday dinners. I can't thank you enough for all that you have done for my family. Mitch, we will miss spending our Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays with you and Anya at our home and all the days in between. You will be forever missed by so many. Pop's heart is broken that he didn't get to see you one last time, but he has a lot to remember. You will be forever in our hearts.

Mitch you always made Steve's day interesting. We never knew what would come out of your mouth but we knew it would get Steve going. Our life will never be the same. I am still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that Mitch is no longer with us. It feels as if a large, smiling, determined, generous, caring, successful part of Ocean City is gone. But I know the legacy and lessons you left us, all of us fortunate enough to have known you, will never be forgotten.....as you will never be forgotten by me and many others. Who was Mitch?
Many of us will have stories... and I'd like to share a very recent memory.
Several weeks ago Mitch called me to 'check in'. He had heard that I was struggling after the loss of our 11 year old daughter... and he was concerned.
Mitch just wanted to talk... to help me in any way possible.
I have many great, fun memories of my friend.... but his compassion just a few short weeks before his own diagnosis will stay with me forever.
Mitch, we will miss you. I'm sure our precious Sarah was waiting for you in Heaven to share lots of stories about her uncle Bill.
