Pearl E. Webb


Pearl E. Webb, 89, passed away Nov. 13, 2012 at 3:45 p.m. in Keystone Villa at Fleetwood.
She was the wife of Robert E. Webb to whom she was married 67 years.
Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late George Kutz and Mary (Grillo) Steeley.
She was a graduate of Reading High School and served in the United States Navy WAVES during World War II.
Mrs. Webb was a sexton for St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Reading for more than 30 years, served as a Cub Scout den mother, earned Beaver award for scouting, enjoyed making crafts and giving them to friends and especially to her nurses at the hospital and our men and women in the military.
In addition to her husband Mrs. Webb is survived by her children Sharon M., wife of Lee Hirneisen of Cross Junction, Va.; Bard R. Webb, husband of Brenda Webb of Zphyrhills, Fla.; Terry M. Webb of Kenhorst; and Holly L., wife of James R. Lewis of Temple. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her sister Anna J. Weidner of Muhlenberg Township.

The family will receive friends Saturday, Nov. 17, from 2-4 p.m. Services from Bean Funeral Home, North 16th & Rockland Streets, Hampden Heights, Saturday, Nov. 17, at 4 p.m. Interment will be held privately by the family in Laureldale Cemetery.
