ROBYN J. GERGES, 46, OF WOMELSDORF Robyn J. Gerges, also known as "Rizzo" by his co-workers, 46, of Womelsdorf, beloved son, husband, father, nephew, uncle and cousin was picked to be one of the Lord's Angels on March 6, 2012. "They'll give 'em wings cause angels should never have to walk." Robyn was the devoted husband of Laurie K. Gerges. Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of Daniel L. Gerges of Reading and the late Betty L. (Wensel) Gerges. Robyn was employed as a Service Technician for Country View Family Farms, based in Hatfield, for many years. Robyn attended Daniel Boone High School. He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Womelsdorf Fire Company. He loved to cook and try new recipes. He was an avid fan of NASCAR. He enjoyed his work at CVFF, working on his Monte Carlo, traveling; especially his six trips to Jamaica. He loved spending time with his friends and family and was most proud of his daughter, Jenna, and son, Robby, whom he loved to watch play guitar in his band. In addition to his wife and father, Robyn is survived by one son, Robyn E., 22 years, of Womelsdorf, and one daughter, Jenna M., 16 years, at home; two sisters, Jodi S., wife of Doug Hetrick of Pottstown, and Judi S. Eppihimer of Birdsboro; one nephew; one niece; one great-niece, and three great-nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Ave., Reading. There will be a visiting hour from 1-2 p.m. There will also be a formal memorial service held at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 300 W. High Street, Womelsdorf, on Saturday Evening at 7:30 P.M. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Laurie Gerges, 212 W.
