Ruth Keiser Obituary

RUTH K. KEISER, 85, OF LIMERICK Ruth K. (Kulp) Keiser, 85, of Walden Court, Limerick, widow of Earl F. "Duke" Keiser, died Wednesday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late S. Ernest Kulp and the late Anna (Schaeffer) Kulp. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Limerick. Mrs. Keiser was a former member of the Pottstown Junior Service League where she was past president, former member of Pottstown Recreation Commission, former member of the YWCA board of directors, and was a Sunday school teacher for 49 years. She is survived by a son, Earl F. "Duke", husband of Tina Keiser, Jr., Outer Banks, NC; a daughter, Ginny, wife of John Lion, Pottstown; a sister, Virginia Saylor, Boyertown; six grandchildren, Krista, Jennifer, Amy, Andrea, Christy and Jeff, and 10 great-grandchildren Jake, Danielle, Hannah, Allison, Heather, Duke, Riley, Jack, Juliet and Cassidy. She was predeceased by two brothers, S. Ernest Kulp Jr., and Robert W. Kulp. Memorial Services will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday April 27, 2011 from St. James Lutheran Church 93 Kugler Road, Limerick. Officiating will be Reverend Stuart M. Luce. Burial will be private. There will be no viewing. Contributions may be made in her memory to St. James Lutheran Church "Building Fund" 93 Kugler Road, Limerick, PA 19468. Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown. Our web site exists to serve the friends and family of the deceased. Our deepest sympathy for the death of Ruth. Ruth and her sister were the first "set of Twins" I knew...I was 5 yrs. old....I would love seeing them...they were always happy....and together...and I could never tell them apart! Nancy and Jack Orgill
