THELMA A. HARLEY, 87, OF STOWE Thelma A. (Lewis) Harley, 87, of Stowe, died on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Pottstown. She was the wife of the late Rudolph "Rudy" B. Harley, who died in April of 2010. Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Lillian (Wein) Freese. For many years, Thelma was a waitress. In earlier years, she worked for the Spring City Knitting Company. She was a life member of the West End Fire Co. She was a former member of the ladies shuffleboard teams at the Pottstown Quoit Club and the German Club. She was a past president of the Pottstown Women's Shuffleboard League. Survivors include three daughters, Peggy Moore of Arlington, TX; Sandralee Okonski of Ocala, FL, and Barbara, wife of Ralph Kelley of Birdsboro; eight grandchildren, Thomas Moore, Jr.; Todd Moore; Terry Lee Davis; Chris Okonski; Ralph Kelley, Jr.; Shawn Kelley; Tammi Jackson, and Ryan Kelley; 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, George Davis III, and her siblings. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service 12 Noon on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte Street, Pottstown. The Rev. Scott Major will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, East Coventry Twp. A viewing will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 and from 11 a.m. - 12 noon on Wednesday at the funeral home.
