Obituary Condolences

THERESA M. FLANAGAN, 67, OF HARLEYSVILLE Theresa "Terri" M. Flanagan, 67, of Harleysville, and formerly of Kimberton and Phoenixville, passed away June 8, 2012 at ManorCare Lansdale after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born December 28, 1944 in Sellersville, she was the daughter of Betty (Smith) and the late B. John Cassidy. Terri was a graduate of Lansdale Catholic, class of 1962 and went on to earn her associates degree from Gwynedd Mercy College, graduating in 1989. She worked as a medical laboratory technician for GlaxoSmithKline and later for the Pennsylvania Department of Health, where she retired from in 2008. Terri was also a member of St. Maria Goretti Parish in Hatfield. She enjoyed knitting and loved spending time at the beach. Above all else, however, she'll be remembered for her love of spending time with family and friends, all who will miss her greatly. In addition to her mother, Terri is survived by her daughter, Amy Geleff and her husband Tony of North Wales; her granddaughter Cassidy Geleff; her brother Jack Cassidy; her sister Mikki Gieniec; three nieces and their families, and numerous other family and friends. Terri's Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday June 14, 2012 at St. Maria Goretti Church, 1601 Derstine Rd., Hatfield, PA 19440, where relatives and friends are invited to call after 9 a.m. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Terri's name to any breast cancer research organization at the donor's discretion or to Easter Seals of Southeastern Pennsylvania at 2400 Trenton Rd.
