Obituary Condolences

THOMAS A. SCHREINER JR., 63, OF UPPER DARBY Thomas A. Schreiner Jr., 63, a resident of Upper Darby for over 35 years, died Saturday, November 19, 2011. He was the son of the late Thomas A. and Loretta S. (Carpenter) Schreiner. He was a member of the Upper Darby Council Knights of Columbus and the Cardinal Dougherty Fourth Degree Assembly. He was an active member of St. Alice Parish, Upper Darby. He enjoyed writing poetry and was know to never miss any birthdays in his extended family and would always acknowledge them with greeting cards. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his God-parents, John and Mary Dugan, and a niece, Baby Mary. He is survived by his brothers, Harry, Arthur, Bro. Charles, Joseph, Jack and Michael Schreiner, and his sisters, Peggy Dyer, Mariellen Van Anglen, Judy McAuliffe and Loretta Anne Schreiner-Bailey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday after 9:30 a.m. in the Church of St. Alice, Walnut St. and Copley Rd. Upper Darby, followed by his funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Broomall. Contributions in his memory may be made to St. Alice Church, 150 Hampden Rd., Upper Darby, PA 19082. Arrangements John P. Donohue Funeral Home, Walnut St. and Copley Rd., Upper Darby.
