W. HAROLD BEALER, 95, OF BRETHREN VILLAGE W. Harold Bealer, 95, of Brethren Village, passed away on June 16, 2012 at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center. Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late S. Claude and M. Ethel Leary Bealer, and was the husband of the late C. LaVerne Bealer. Formerly of Pottstown, Harold was a member of Coventry Church of the Brethren where he served as church treasurer for 33 years, was a Sunday school teacher, choir member and lifetime deacon. He was a die caster and U.A.W. chief union steward at Doehler-Jarvis. He is survived by his children, Kenneth H., husband of Kathleen, Brethren Village; Mary Ann Melleby, Banning, CA; Richard A., husband of Geraldine, Sinking Spring; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert; grandson, John L. Harvey, and sister, Grace Wampler. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 21, at 10 a.m. at the Brethren Village Chapel, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster. Burial will be in East Coventry Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Brethren Village Endowment Fund, or to the Coventry Church of the Brethren Memorial Fund, 946 Keen Road, Pottstown, PA 19465.
