Obituary Condolences

Walter F. Tokarski Jr., 75, of Pottstown, husband of Patricia A. (Prior) Tokarski of 52 years, passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013.
Born in Limerick, he was the son of the late Walter F. Sr. and Tessie (Gazda) Tokarski.
Walter served in the United States Army. He worked as a truck driver for 34 years for Mrs. Smith Pie Co. in Pottstown, and later worked part-time at JB Supply Co., Pottstown. Walter loved tinkering in his garage, camping at Indian River Inlet, DE, and spending winters in Key Largo, Fla. He was a Ford truck enthusiast and people are invited to drive their own truck the day of the funeral. Walter was also a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Roman Catholic Church.
Surviving along with his wife are his two daughters Kelly A. Tokarski partner of Dan Bengel of Lower Pottsgrove, and Stephanie Lafferty wife of Dan of Pottstown; two beloved grandchildren Abby and Josh Lafferty; four brothers Anthony Tokarski husband of Margie of Lower Pottsgrove, Joseph Tokarski husband of Carol of Limerick, Robert Tokarski husband of Dee of Boyertown, and Thomas Tokarski husband of Jean of King of Prussia; and one sister Connie Weston wife of John of California.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, 11 a.m. at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473, with Fr. Paul Brandt officiating. Interment will follow at St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made in Walter's memory to the Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Building Fund at the above address, or to the Phoenixville Hospital, 140 Nutt Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
