William Frank Morris, 33, of Elverson, PA, husband of Julia Morris, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at the home of his parents.|
Born in Phoenixville, Pa., he was a son of Edward J. and Susan E. (Steimke) Morris, of Saint Peters.
William was a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School where he was the captain of the football team. He was a member of Kennedy's Gym in Morgantown and in 2004 won the Tri-County Strongest Man competition. He loved all sports, especially football.
Surviving him, in addition to his wife and parents, is one son, Billy Morris, and one daughter, Bethy Morris. He is also survived by one brother, Ed Morris, and his wife, Meghan, of Cranberry Twp., as well as one sister Katie M. Morris, of Coatsville.
Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, from Cedarville United Methodist Church, 1092 Laurelwood Road, Pottstown. Officiating will be the Rev. Sherry Lantz.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to help with funeral expenses may be made to Susan E. Morris, P.O. Box 16, Saint Peters, PA 19470.
Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown, Pa.
