Francis J. Kelsch Obituary
FRANCIS J. KELSCH, 61, OF BECHTELSVILLE Francis J. "Skip" Kelsch, 61, of Bechtelsville, husband of Dawn A. (Dugan) Kelsch, passed away on Saturday, March 29 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Paul F. and Mary (Minner) Kelsch. Skip was a professional hunter that received awards for two grand slams and completed the Super Slam of North American Big Game tournament. He was a life member of the Boyertown Rod & Gun Club, Safari Club International, NRA, the Foundation for N. American Wild Sheep, N.A.H.C, and the Keystone Fire Co. He was a United States Marine veteran and was the owner and operator along with his wife of the Lazy K Campground in Bechtelsville. Surviving with his wife of 41 years are daughters Alissandra M. Kelsch of Barto, and Kathy L. Kelsch of Bechtelsville; son Michael J. Kelsch, husband of Allyson, of Gilbertsville; grandchildren Cassandra Horst, and Kyle, Mason and Deacon Kelsch; three brothers and seven sisters. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by a sister. Services and interment are private.
