Mary Ann Fabian Obituary
Mary Ann Fabian, 76, wife of Edward J. Fabian Sr., of East High Street, Pottstown, passed away Friday April 4, 2014 at the Pennsburg Manor.
Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of Paul J. and Susan (Pinder) Peterka.
She was employed as a nurse's aide and by the housekeeping Department of the Montgomery County Geriatric Center and later in the housekeeping Department of Victoria Commons Assisted Living of Cape May, N.J.
Mary Ann was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Roman Catholic Church and former member of the Ladies of St. Clare's Roman Cathlic Church, former den Mother for the Limerick Cub Scouts and loved sewing, baking, gardening and taking care of her family.
Surviving with her husband are children Susan, wife of Wayne Myers Sr., Gilbertsville, Edward F. Fabian Jr. and wife Denise, Magodora, Ohio, Mary Ann, wife of Timothy Nickle, Palm Harbor, Fla., David Fabian Sr. and companion Sylvia Sharp, Bechtelsville, Sandra, wife of Paul Tobias, Kutztown, and Michael S. Fabian and wife Becky , Phoenixville; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, James Peterka, Deptford, N.J.; sisters, Monica, wife of William Yeager, Pottstown, Barbara, wife of Ronald Moyer, Pottstown, Dolores, wife of Roy Nyce, Royersford, and Claudia, wife of Brian Haberle, Elverson.
She was predeceased by a son, Paul A. Fabian.
A funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014, in Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Roman Catholic Church, Swamp Pike, Limerick. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 High St., Pottstown. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Congregation of Mission, Africa 109 E. Price St., Philadelphia PA 19144, of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church.
