Betty M. Blacker Obituary
Betty M. Blacker, 84, of Allentown, died on April 12, 2014, at Westminster Village, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Kenneth H. Blacker, who passed away in 1997.
Born in Palmerton, Betty was the daughter of the late Raymond and Emma (Eckart) Heydt.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown. Betty was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking and baking.
Survivors: son, Thomas; daughter, Ann; sisters, Jean, wife of Harold Bishe, Mary Ann Banus; granddog, Bailey.
Betty was predeceased by brothers, Willard, Edwin, and Raymond Heydt Jr.; and sisters, Norma Dziedzic and Grace Barbalace.
Services: Friday, April 18, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Joseph's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 41 S. Carlisle St., Allentown, PA 18109. A viewing will be held from 10 to 10:30 a.m. in the church and on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th and Hamilton streets, Allentown.
