Betty M. Blacker, 84, of Allentown, died on April 12, 2014, at Westminster Village, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Kenneth H. Blacker, who passed away in 1997. |
Born in Palmerton, Betty was the daughter of the late Raymond and Emma (Eckart) Heydt.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown. Betty was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking and baking.
Survivors: son, Thomas; daughter, Ann; sisters, Jean, wife of Harold Bishe, Mary Ann Banus; granddog, Bailey.
Betty was predeceased by brothers, Willard, Edwin, and Raymond Heydt Jr.; and sisters, Norma Dziedzic and Grace Barbalace.
Services: Friday, April 18, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Joseph's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 41 S. Carlisle St., Allentown, PA 18109. A viewing will be held from 10 to 10:30 a.m. in the church and on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th and Hamilton streets, Allentown.
