SANDRA DEE DELLAPENNA, 54, OF PHOENIXVILLE Sandra Dee (Ferrell) Dellapenna, 54, wife of Nicholas F. Dellapenna Jr. of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 in the Seasons Hospice. Born in Grand Rapids, MI, she was a daughter of George Ferrell Sr., husband of Nancy Muncy-Ferrell of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and the late Pearl (Benning) Corbett. Sandra graduated from Great Valley High School, and attended Immaculata College. She worked for Unisys, Great Valley School District, The Home Depot, Communication Cable, and most recently Apex Physical Therapy. Sandra loved her family dearly, and having battled cancer since 2001, she always remained positive, full of life and joy. Those who knew her would say she was the strongest lady they had ever met, as she never complained throughout all her struggles. She was a very talented artist, avid skier and pool shooter, and enjoyed gardening and decorating. In addition to her husband and father, Sandra is survived by two children, Justin J. and Gina F. Dellapenna, both of Phoenixville; two sisters, Linda Ferrell-Johnson of Birmingham, AL and Gilda Ferrell-Deavitt of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, George Ferrell Jr., husband of Diane of West Chester, PA; and step-siblings, Richard Muncy of Jacksonville, FL, Roxanne Muncy-Daley of Jenison, MI and Penny Muncy-Walendzik of Grand Rapids, MI; mother-in-law Faye, wife of the late Nicholas Dellapenna Sr. of Phoenixville; brothers-in-law Rocky, husband of Amy Dellapenna of West Chester, PA and Dennis, husband of Cookie Dellapenna of Sarasota, FL; and sister-in-law Lisa, wife of Lee Brand of Spring City, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at the St. Basil R.C. Church, 2300 Kimberton Road, Kimberton, PA 19442 on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 12 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Gary T. Pacitti. Friends will be received at the Church from 10-11:45 a.m. Burial will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
