Alan C. Wetzel Obituary
ALAN C. WETZEL, 57, OF BARTO Alan C. Wetzel, 57, husband of Rosanne Glod, of Barto, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at home. He was a son of Robert E. and Jane C. (Zepp) Wetzel of Elizabethtown. He worked 18 years as a Controller for Teleflex Marine Corp., Limerick retiring in 2013 and also at Baldwin Brass, Reading and Easton Printing. He was 1974 graduate of Upper Perk where he played the trombone in the band and a 1978 graduate of Kutztown University. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Bath and Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Bally. Surviving along with his wife and parents, are 3 daughters, Lauren A. Glod-Wetzel, North Arlington, NJ, and Megan N. Glod-Wetzel and Kristen M. Glod-Wetzel, both of Barto and brother, Rev. Jay R. Wetzel and wife, Jill, Bath. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 610 Pine Street, Bally PA 19503. Burial is in Quakertown Union Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 6:30 to 8 p.m., with a sharing time at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville.
