MARGARET V. PFANDERS, 82, OF DOUGLASSVILLE Margaret V. Pfanders, 82, of Douglassville, PA, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in Sanatoga Center of Sanatoga, PA. She was the wife of Frank J. Pfanders. Born in Conshohocken, PA on October 9, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Strycharz and the late Florence (Heller). Margaret has been living in Douglassville, PA, formerly of King of Prussia, PA, where she lived for 58 years since 1961, and also from Conshohocken where she was born and raised. A homemaker, she was a member of Mother of Divine Providence in King of Prussia, PA, and formerly of St. Matthew's when she lived in Conshohocken, PA. She graduated from St. Matthew's High School. She worked with Bell Telephone, and was a homemaker most of her life Margaret enjoyed Traveling, dancing-especially with her husband at many local summer church festivals, TK Club, Country Line Dancing and Sunnybrook, she was an avid gardener and she was talented in sewing and embroidery. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Paul (& Catherine) Pfanders, Gilbertsville, PA; Frank (& Holly) Pfanders, Parkesburg, PA; Alan (& Rocio Luquero) Pfanders, Seattle, WA, and David (& Reannet Lacson) Pfanders, Lancaster, PA; daughters, Diane Pfanders, Sanatoga, PA, and Margaret (& Brad) Ray, Lower Pottsgrove, PA, and brother, Clarence Strycharz, Fairview Village, PA. She is also survived by four grandchildren Laura Bennett, Elise Pfanders, Ryan Pfanders and Diego Pfanders. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Eleanor Scott. Her Memorial Service will be held on Monday May 19, 2014 at 10 a.m. from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, with the Rev. Richard A. Olson II officiating. Friends may call on Monday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Montgomery County S.P.C.A., 19 East Ridge Pike, Post Office Box 222, Conshohocken, PA 19428-0222 or Life Choice Hospice 200 Dryden Road, Suite 300 Dresher, Pa 19025.
