C. Linford Richard, 95, of Glen Arm, Md.; formerly of Pottstown, widower of Marion I. (Kulp) Richard, passed away on Friday at Franklin Square Hospital, Baltimore, Md..|
Born in Fegleysville, Pa., he was a son of the late Leroy Richard and the late Minnie (Renninger) Richard.
Mr. Richard worked as an insurance agent owning & operating C. Linford Richard Agency which later became Evans, Hausman & Richard in Pottstown for many years, until his retirement.
He served in the Air Force during World War II & Korean War.
Linford was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Pottstown, and Stitcher Masonic Lodge #254, Pottstown.
He is survived by a daughter Carol L. wife of Ronald Walker, Bel Air, Md.; a sister Thelma Dailey, Syracuse, N.Y.; a grandson Mark Walker and his wife Jodi; and three great-grandchildren Katelyn, Molly, and Abby. He was predeceased by a grandaughter Erin Walker.
Funeral Services will be 2:15 p.m. on Friday May 30, 2014 from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory 359 King St., Pottstown. Masonic services will be held 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 1 - 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
