PAULINE LARUE KLINE, 91, OF BOYERTOWN Pauline LaRue (Leister) Kline, 91, of Boyertown, widow of the late Willard H. Kline, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 in Chestnut Knoll, Boyertown. Born in Boyertown, she was a daughter of the late Katie Helen (Dierolf) and Roland Raymond Leister. She was a graduate of the Boyertown High School and was last employed at the Frederick Mennonite Home as a Nurse's Aide for 14 years until her retirement in 1984. Pauline also worked for Eberly and Stoudt as a seamstress, as a sales clerk at Berky's Variety Store and at Pillsbury in the quality control department. Pauline was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church 3238 Big Road, Obelisk, PA. 19492. She also taught Sunday school, Vacation Bible School and shared her gifts as an artist and seamstress at church. She was a counselor at the 4H Club, a founding member along with her husband of the Upper Frederick Fire Company and helped get the company their first Fire Truck. She was the first school bus driver taking kids from Upper Frederick to Pennsburg. She was an avid artist in Oils and Pastels, painting silk shirts in her younger years and selling them at Pomeroy's and Lerner's in Reading. She was the art editor and illustrator of the Boyertown High School Yearbook. Pauline was a gardener, farmer, hunter and a wonderful friend, parent, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her children, Janice H. widow of Paul Berky of Chandler, AZ; Pamela F. wife of Dr. Vernon Morris of Seabring, FL; Tyrone A. Kline of Boyertown; Valerie L. wife of Kurt Malmberg of Boyertown, and Perry D. husband of Lisa Kline of Perkiomenville; a brother, Donald C. Leister of Tucson, AZ; 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sister Marguerite L. Longacre, who passed away in 2013. Services will be held at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Obelisk, PA, Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the Church, Thursday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown.
