Obituary Condolences

David R. Shaner, of Spring City David R. Shaner, husband of the late Rose Marie (Becker) Shaner, of Spring City, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 9, 2011 at his home. Mr. Shaner was a member of the National Rifle Association, and an avid member of the Family Hunting Club, also know as Circle K. In addition to his love of hunting and fishing, Mr. Shaner also served in the Korean War. Mr. Shaner is survived by two daughters, Rose Bevington, wife of Frank Bevington, of Ellenboro, NC, and Zobillia Shaner, of Spring City; one son, David R. Shaner, of Pottstown; two grandchildren, Michael Shaner, husband of Tanasirin Witchayacoop, and Lillian Stirk, and many nieces and nephews. David is the youngest of twelve children and is survived by two sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford PA 19468 on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Robert M. Latshaw. Burial will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Parkerford. Friends will be received from 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday evening and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday morning at the funeral home.
