SOPHIE A. TRUSH, 98, OF PHOENIXVILLE Sophie A. (Weglarz) Trush, 98, widow of Stephen J. Trush, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in her residence at Atria Woodbridge Place, Phoenixville. Sophie was formerly of Sassamansville. Born in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Anna and Julian Weglarz. She was a homemaker and worked at various factories in Philadelphia. Sophie was a member of St. Basil The Great Parish, Kimberton. Sophia loved animals and a real admirer of cats and contributed too many charitable organizations. She was also a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Shrine, Doylestown. She is survived by a grandson, Stephen C. Chobot and his wife, Jayne of Butler; two granddaughters, Paulette Chabot of Phoenixville and Howard Beach, NY, and Jeannette Chobot-Curtis and her husband, Christopher of Philadelphia; two great-grandchildren, Sarah Chobot-Hokanson and Jennifer Chobot, and a brother, Julian Weglarz of Port Richey, FL. She was predeceased by a son, Paul Chobot. A Mass of Christian burial will be 11:30 a.m., Monday, June 13, 2011 at St. Basil Roman Catholic Church, 2300 Kimberton Road, Kimberton. A viewing will be Monday between 9:45 - 11:15 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Alzheimer's Association, Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market Street, suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
