Anna Mae Albrecht, 83, of Boyertown, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. |
Born in Bechtelsville, Berks County, she was the daughter of the late Bertha (Miller) and Russell C. Fronheiser.
Anna Mae was a 1946 graduate of Boyertown High School. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bechtelsville.
She worked in the office at Boscov's for 21 years, retiring in February 2001. Prior to working at Boscov's she worked in the office of Schmoyer's Lumber Company for 10 years and before that, in the office of Mistee Lingerie for 10 years. Her first job was with the Conestoga Telephone Company as a telephone operator, before it went automatic.
Anna Mae spent a lot of time reading. She enjoyed playing cards and going out to eat with her friends.
She is survived by a son, Randy R., husband of Sharon (Eshbach) Renninger of Bechtelsville; two grandchildren, Angela Renninger of Bally and Matthew, husband of Katherine (Neagle) Renninger of Havertown, one great-grandson, Luke Renninger of Havertown, and a sister, Nancy Lou Ritter, of Flying Hills, Pa., all of whom she dearly loved.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1749 South Main Street, Bechtelsville. Reverend Eugene Zaiser will officiate. Relatives and friends will be received between 10 and 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Bechtelsville Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1749 South Main Street, Bechtelsville, PA 19505.
