EDWARD RAYMOND RUSINSKI, 91, OF BOYERTOWN Edward Raymond Rusinski, 91, of Boyertown, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2012 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center where he was a patient for 13 days. He was the beloved husband for 69 years to Jeannette (Fine) Rusinski. Born in New Hanover Township, Pottstown, PA he was the son of the Harry and Sophie Rusinski. Ed retired from Dana Corporation with 36 years of service. He also was owner/operator of Eds Auto Service for 10 years. He was a Navy World War II Veteran. He was an avid golfer, hunter, fisherman and loved to garden; but most of all he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He spent his retirement at his mountain home and traveled to Florida frequently. Ed was a member of the Boyertown Orioles, Boyertown American Legion and Pikeville Sportsmen Club. He was deeply loved and will be missed by his family and friends. Ed is survived with his wife Jeannette, by his children, Sharon, wife of James Qualls of Stafford, Virginia, Jesse Rusinski, Sr., husband of Garnetta of Boyertown and Robin, wife of Donald Hagenbuch of Gilbertsville; he was Pop-Pop to five grandchildren, Jason Hagenbuch, Stephanie Frantz, Bradley Qualls, Jennifer Coyle and Jessie Rusinski, Jr., and eight great-grandchildren, Jordan and Ryan Qualls, Carlee and Chase Frantz, Emma and Owen Coyle, Reece Hagenbuch and Olivia Rusinski. He was predeceased by three brothers, Henry, Matthew and Walter Rusinski, and two sisters, Virginia Mierzejewski and Jean Linn. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. A viewing will be Saturday between 1 - 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made in his memory to the University of Penn Medicine, Cardiac Research Center, 3400 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
