JOSEPH P. MALAK, 91, OF POTTSTOWN Joseph P. Malak, 91, of Pottstown, widower of Anna M. (Koval) Malak, died Tuesday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Monocacy, PA, he was a son of the late Joseph Malak and the late Stella (Sakowski) Malak. He worked at the former Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. for 36 years until his retirement. Mr. Malak served in the Navy during World War II and loved going along with his wife to their vacation home in Delaware every weekend. He is survived by two sisters, Stella Binczak, Pottstown, and Pauline Twardowski, Boyertown, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Tony Malak and two sisters, Anna Grisack and Mary Rudy. A Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. on Wednesday from Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 370 South Street, Pottstown. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. There will be a viewing Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. Contributions may be made in his memory to St. Aloysius Catholic Church 223 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
