ROBERT D. CLARK, 70, OF BECHTELSVILLE Robert "Bobby" D. Clark, 70, of Bechtelsville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hospice Care surrounded by his wife of 53 years and his four daughters. Born on December 25, 1941, he was one of nine children born to the late Wilmer Clark and Elizabeth Ehst. Known as fun & loving "poppy" to his 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and "Clarky", "Irish", "Bob" and "Bobby" to many, many beloved family and friends. He was known for his never-ending humor, kindness and respect for his family and to everyone he knew and who knew him. Bobby was owner/operator of Bob Clark Roofing & Siding in Boyertown, PA for the past 30 years. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Bernice (Erb) Clark; his four daughters, Coreen Bonenberger and husband Michael, Shelley Pinter, Melinda Goggins and husband Christopher, Julie Schlegel and husband James; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters; Helen Kline, Phyllis Mest and Joann Kose. In addition to his parents, He is preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Clark, Wilmer Clark, Thomas Clark and sisters, Shirley Emes and Betty Jane Moyer. He will be missed very much by his wife, his daughters and all of his grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 22 at 11 a.m. at The Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc. 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at the funeral home.
