ABBIE YEAGER, 86, OF AUBURN, PA Abbie Yeager, 86, of Auburn, PA, formerly of East Vincent Township, died Monday, August 5, at the Schuylkill Medical Center in Pottsville, PA. Born in Pottstown, PA, Abbie was the daughter of the late Maurice Yeager and the late Elsie A. (Griffiths) Yeager. Living most of her life in East Vincent Township, Abbie was a 1945 graduate of The Spring City High School. Following her graduation from high school, she attended The Pottstown Hospital School of Nursing, where she obtained her RN degree. She then worked at The Pennhurst State School and Hospital. Abbie was an active member of her church and was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Abbie is survived by two children, Cynthia L., wife of Harold C. Neff of State College, PA, and Laurie A., wife of David M. Osatchuck of Auburn, PA, and three grandchildren, Paul A. Matolyak, Nicholas A. Matolyak and Elizabeth A. Neff. In addition, she is survived by a brother, Maurice R. Yeager of Florida. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, August 10, at 11 a.m. at the St. Vincent United Church of Christ, 137 Ridge Road, Phoenixville, PA, with burial to follow in the St. Vincent United Church of Christ Cemetery. Her viewing will be held at St. Vincent United Church of Christ Church from 10 to 11 a.m. The family requests that memorial gifts may be made in her memory to The St. Vincent United Church of Christ Church, 137 Ridge Rd., Phoenixville, PA 19460.
