PATRICK ANDREW HILEND, 24, OF LAKE WORTH, FL Patrick Andrew Hilend, 24, of Lake Worth, FL, formerly of Spring City, PA passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 in Royersford, PA. Born July 9, 1990 in Phoenixville, he was a son of R. Patrick Hilend of Phoenixville and Giuliana E. (LaRocca) Hilend of Royersford. Patrick was a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School. He worked as a carpenter for Hilend Construction and Pella Windows. He was a skilled craftsman and mechanic, and loved working on cars. Patrick was known for his big heart, generous spirit, and wonderful, goofy laugh and smile. He often could be found spending time with and helping his family, grandparents, and friends. He had an amazing sense of style, and was very outgoing. Patrick enjoyed watching sunsets, playing and watching hockey, cooking, fine restaurants, shopping, and traveling to West Palm Beach, FL and Red Point, MD. In addition to his parents, Patrick is survived by his brother and best friend, Matthew P. Hilend of Phoenixville; maternal grandparents, Remo and Alicia E. LaRocca of Audubon, PA; his aunts, uncles and cousins in Yardley, PA, Berkeley, CA and Wellington, FL; his father's companion, Louise Lehman and his mother's companion, Ralph Carey. Patrick was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bob and Jackie Hilend of Spring City, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Elizabeth M. Colton. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9-11 a.m. Condolences may be offered online by visiting www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
