Andrew J. DiGregorio, 73, of Pottstown, PA passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Phoenixville Hospital. He was the husband of Violet V. with whom he shared 29 years. Andrew was born August 4, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA. He was a son of the late Andrew DiGregorio and Rose (Pingue) DiGregorio. Andrew worked for the Philadelphia Inquirer for 35 years. He will be remembered by his family and loved ones for his generous and patient spirit. He was a pillar of constant strength for those he loved. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Andrew M. DiGregorio, Philadelphia, PA; one step-daughter, Colleen Coughlin; one brother, Richard DiGregorio and his wife, Katherine, Yardley, PA; four grandchildren, Anthony, Natalie, Katheryn and Kristie, and one great-grandson, Jadon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by twin daughters, Jennifer and Denise DiGregorio, and one sister, Bernadette. A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 10 - 11 AM at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St. Pottstown, PA 19464. A Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM. Interment will take place following the service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery - Philadelphia, PA.
