Nicholas P. LaDuca
Wappingers Falls - Nicholas P. LaDuca of Wappingers Falls entered into rest Sunday, November 25, 2012 at his home after a long but brave battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He was 19.
Son of Paul and Laurie LaDuca of Wappingers Falls, he was born February 27, 1993 in Newburgh.
Nicholas loved superheroes, especially Spiderman and Ironman. He was a graduate of Roy C. Ketcham High School, where he was a member of the Comic book club. Along with his family, he was a regular communicant of Mount Alvernia Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Philip LaDuca; his sisters, Nicole Genua and her husband, Michael, Danielle Rosado, and Alyssa LaDuca; his aunts, Sonia Fuentes, Gladys Fuentes, Rosalind Riopelle and her husband, Edward, and Michele Bilello and her husband, Joseph; his uncles, Anthony Fuentes and his wife, Lisa, Carl LaDuca, and Anthony LaDuca and his wife, Karen; close family friend, Lisa Castanon; as well as several cousins.
Services were private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Nicholas' name may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, 832 South Broadway, The Wish House, Tarrytown, NY 10591.
