Benedetto Guercio Benedetto Guercio, 89, passed away February 24, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Helen. Dear brother of Rosie Germano (Robert), Gracie Coratti (Charles). Clara Cobey (the late Richard), Marlene Guercio, and the late Joseph Cuercio [Gracie], Frank [Sally], and John [Penny]. Survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Hansen, Edward  
Edward Hansen Dover Plains - Edward Hansen, 78, a resident of Dover Plains, NY formerly of Beacon, NY died on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Mr. Hansen was a member of Local #137 in Briarcliff, NY and worked for Sentrel Construction in White Plains, NY. Born on September 19, 1936 in Mt. Kisco, NY he was the son of the late Edward Marchgini and Signa Hansen. On July 5, 1986 in Beacon, NY he married Wilma Guerra who survives at home. In addition to his wife, Mr. Hansen is survived by a son, Edward J. Hansen of Hopewell Junction, NY; four daughters, Sharon Ann Hansen of Kingston, NY, Signa Linehan and her husband, Michael of Maine, Shannon Ruth Weller and her husband, Thomas of Marlboro, NY and Donna Hansen of Dalton, MA; thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his longtime friends, Clarence, Kevin, Jennifer and Laura Lucas. Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will follow at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Deacon James Lawlor officiating. Burial will take place in the spring at Smithfield Cemetery in Amenia, NY. Herring, Jane  
Jane Herring WAPPINGERS FALLS - Jane Martha Rathbun Herring, 80, a resident of Wappingers Falls for 57 years, died peacefully on Monday, March 2, 2015 at her home. Jane was born in East Springfield, NY on February 6, 1935, the daughter of Dean O. Rathbun and L. Marguerite Jones Rathbun. She grew up on Shadowbrook Dairy Farm, a real farmer's daughter and a country girl at heart. Jane pursued her teaching degree at New Paltz, working as a substitute teacher in the Wappingers Central School District, but her primary focus was being a loving wife and mother. She had a lifelong love of music and taught organ lessons for years. Jane was a 50 year plus member of the First Presbyterian Church of Wappingers Falls serving as Church Elder, Bible Study Leader, and on various committees too numerous to list. She also was a faithful member of the Women's Morning Fellowship, contributing her knitting and crocheting skills by making countless baby sweaters for Church World Services. Jane was also a member of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of the American Revolution. On July 22, 1956 in East Springfield, NY, Jane married Frederick Albert Herring, who survives at home. She is also survived by her son, Dean Frederick Herring and his wife Susan of Youngsville, NC; her grandson, Michael Herring and his wife Sarah of Youngsville, NC; her brother, Richard D. Rathbun of East Springfield; and her sister, Ellen Delocis of Hopewell Junction. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will be in East Springfield Cemetery in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to Church World Services through the First Presbyterian Church of Wappingers Falls. Kathaleen Hill Pine Plains, NY - Kathaleen Hill, 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Noble Horizons in Salisbury, CT. She was born on January 20, 1929 in Bronx, NY the daughter of John and Sally (Lutz) O'Grady Mrs. Hill was a homemaker. On September 5, 1948 in Gallatin, NY she married Harold B. Hill Sr. He predeceased her on December 2, 2011. Survivors include a son, Harold B. Hill Jr. and his wife Dorothy Lutz of Pine Plains, NY; two daughters, June Dykeman and her husband Charles of Pine Plains, NY; Jean Johnson and her husband Richard of Pine Plains, NY; three grandchildren, Melissa Bowen, Richard Johnson Jr. and Donald Thorpe Jr.; five great grandchildren, Kayla, Kelsey and Kinsey Bowen, Brian Johnson and Michael Calabrese. She was predeceased by two sisters, Marie Scales and Rosemarie Teitz and a grandson, Michael Petty. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, 7749 S. Main St. Pine Plains. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, at 11 AM from the funeral home, with Rev. Bill Mayhew officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Hoffmann, Frank  
Frank L. Hoffmann POUGHKEEPSIE - Frank L. Hoffmann, 65, a resident of Poughkeepsie and formerly of Fishkill, died on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. Frank was born on August 23, 1949 in New York City to Frank Louis and Rose Savarese Hoffmann. On June 29, 1974, he married Eileen A. O'Bryan at St. Augustine's Church in New City. Frank proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps from 1969 to 1973. He worked as a Nuclear Mechanic for Con Edison at Indian Point for 35 years until his retirement in 2004 and previously worked at Turning Point in Beacon for 4 years. Frank is survived by his wife, Eileen, at home; his sons, Christopher Michael Hoffmann of Poughkeepsie, David Francis Hoffmann and his girlfriend, Timara Marquis of Las Vegas; his sister, Mary Accattao of West Haverstraw; several brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11:30am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by military honors. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of ICU and PCS at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital.
