Gerald "Chet" Hundley

Hyde Park, NY - Gerald "Chet" Hundley of Hyde Park, formerly of Beacon, a self employed carpenter and former auctioneer for Cold Spring Galleries passed away peacefully on March 26, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 60. Born on January 30, 1953 in Beacon to the late Frank and Della "Bunny" Tomlins Hundley.

Chet enjoyed fishing, boating and working with his hands. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp from 1971-1973.

Chet is survived by his devoted wife, Susan Hundley, of Hyde Park; loving children, Chet Hundley and his wife, Jamie, of Toby Hanna, PA, Danielle Hundley of Albany, Guy Hundley and his wife, Brandi, of Pine Bush NY, and Nicole Hundley of Bullville NY. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Chet was predeceased by his mother, Della "Bunny" Hundley, his father, Frank Hundley and his step-father, Meredith "Spike" Norris; his brother, Frank "Guy" Hundley, and his sister, Bernice "Little One" Babcock.

Friends may call on Friday March 29, 2013 from 11 am -1pm at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home, 1028 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A Graveside Service with military honors will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
