Kenneth J. Miccio

Fishkill - Kenneth J. Miccio, a Fishkill resident since 1948, died at The Pines at Poughkeepsie on Monday, August 26, 2013. He was 88.

Son of the late Dominic and Mary Marinaccio Miccio, he was born in Beacon on May 25, 1925. For many years, he co-owned K & A Excavating with his longtime friend and partner, Albert Pettinella. Kenneth was an active member of the Fishkill Rotary Club and also belonged to the Exchange Club of Southern Dutchess. He was a parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill.

Survivors include his daughter, Betsy Tarquini & her husband Bill of Fishkill; his son, Paul Miccio & his wife Kathy of Fishkill; his son, Jim Miccio & his wife Eileen of Fishkill; his grandchildren, Christopher Miccio (Tina) of Abilene, TX, Kenny & Paul Miccio of Binghamton, Gina Tarquini Lamoureux (Josh) of Springfield, MA, Adam Tarquini (Annemarie) of Springfield, MA and Kaitlyn Miccio of Beacon; his great-grandchildren, Ariana, Ashley, Jarrett, Brynn Christine and Hayden Elizabeth; his brother, Joseph Miccio & his wife Elaine of Fishkill; a niece, several nephews and many other loving relatives & friends.

Kenneth was predeceased by his parents, his brother Dominic, and his former wife Betty Shea Miccio.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 29 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. Immediately following calling hours, a memorial service will be held in the funeral home at 8 p.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

The family would like to thank everyone at The Pines at Poughkeepsie for their compassionate care of our dad, especially Marcy and staff.
