Lydia F. Pacio
WAPPINGERS FALLS - Lydia F. Pacio 87, a longtime resident of Wappingers Falls, NY passed away on November 12, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie with her loving family by her side.
Lydia was born in Wappingers Falls, NY on February 2, 1925. She was the daughter of Peter and Frances Marcelli.
On April 17, 1949 at St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls she married her loving husband Anthony F. Pacio. Mr Pacio predeceased her on May 4, 2011.
Survivors include her daughters; Patricia Roden and her husband Kenneth of Putnam Valley, Christine Hendryk and her husband Michael J. of Wappingers Falls, Toni Marie Contarino and her husband James of Wappingers Falls, her grandchilden; Kimberly Guinta and her husband Benjamin of Stamford CT., Ashley Murin and her husband Bill of Poughkeepsie, Alana Contarino and her fiancee James London of Wappingers Falls, Michael V. Hendryk and his wife Sarah of Poughkeepsie, Nicholas Contarino of Wappingers Falls, her great grandson; Michael Gregory Murin, her sister Viola Anzivina of Highland and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Pacio was predeceased by her infant daughter; Mary Pacio and her brother Joseph Marcelli.
Lydia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday November 15th from 4 to 8pm at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. 218 Mill St. Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Wheelchair entrance is located in the rear of funeral home on Vassar St.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday November 16th 10:00am at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Wappingers Falls where she was a longtime parishioner.
Entombment will follow in the Communtity Mausoleum at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
