Cleverdale - Patricia Mary Lambert (Waring), 83, of Cleverdale, NY passed away on February 22, 2013. Mrs. Lambert was born on April 29, 1929 in White Plains, NY. She was the daughter of the late Howard E. and Marguerite J. McKenna Waring.
Pat attended St. John's Parochial School and Our Lady of Good Council High School in White Plains. She received her Registered Nursing degree from Saint Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie, NY which she used while working at St. Agnes Hospital, White Plains, Westchester Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, and Glens Falls Hospital.
Mrs. Lambert raised her eight children while volunteering in many capacities. She worked with Hyde Park Regina Coeli Church, was a CYO Swim Team Coach as well as a Cub Scout Den Mother. One of her most memorable honors was being named Hyde Park Mother of the Year.
In recent years, she devoted her time and energy to North Country Ministry as well as being an active parishioner at Sacred Heart Church in Lake George.
During each season of her life, Pat made friendships that deepened over years and decades. She was a woman of amazing character, and was a saintly example of kindness, generosity and love. She will be dearly missed by both friends and family.
Pat was predeceased by her husband, Robert; son, Ray; and brother, Charles Waring.
She is survived by her children, Tricia Freer, Robert Lambert, Timothy Lambert, Roger Lambert, Rick Lambert, Pam Homer, and Roy Lambert, as well as twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 26th at 11 am at Sacred Heart Church in Lake George Village, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, February 27th at Regina Coeli Church, Rte. 9, Hyde Park.
Burial will be next to her husband in the family plot in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
