David Pendergast Obituary
Hyde Park - David A. Pendergast, age 33, of Hyde Park, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Westchester Medical Center Valhalla, NY. David was born May 17, 1979 in Rhinebeck, New York . He is the son of Frank and Virginia (Elwell) Pendergast of Red Hook. He married Tamara A. Conners on June 15, 2002 in Pleasant Valley New York, she survives at home.
He was employed by Emagin Corp Hopewell Junction as a Asst. Engineer. David was a member of Pennock Fiero Form, he had a love of cars, computers and loved animals.
He is survived by his wife: Tamara A. Conners, two sons: Merrick William Pendergast of Hyde Park, NY, Gabrielle Anthony Pedergast of Hyde Park, NY; his father Frank and mother Virginia (Elwell) Pendergast of Red Hook, NY; Sister And Brother In-law, Dawn And Barry Cypher of Homer , LA. and their children Frankie, Lexi and Michael. David is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be Saturday, June 23 from 12pm to 3pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. Words of remembrances will be said during the visitation. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations can be made in David's name to, the Dutchess County ASPCA Violet Ave. Hyde Park, New York 12538.

Dave, I did not know you on a personal level, but I do know you were a good man who would give the shirt off of his back to help someone else. Thanks for all of your help with repairs etc. You will live on through your sons and our memories of you. See you on the other side.

I was very sorry to hear that my very first childhood friend left this world so soon. We always dreamed big. We were happy spinning in our own non conformist world together. We grew apart as we got older and then had some really great conversations on Facebook over the past few years. You were always the one who could make me laugh at how old we were getting and how lifes little hang ups were really insignificant in the grand design of life.
My heart goes out to Frankie,Ginnie, and Dawn...you guys were my family growing up. I send my deep condolences out to his wife and children.
David....you were my first Kiss at 5...my hotwheels buddy... Ouija partner and ghost hunter. All of my childhod memories have you etched in the very fiber of my being. I'm grateful for knowing your spirit and I hope that wherever your soul is...whatever your next mission is....you are loved and missed by so many here on Earth. Soar peacefully my friend.

Dear David,
I know you're in a good place now, and I also know your other David is there watching over you as he always did. As time went by, I watched you grow, become who you became , and proudly watched as you began a family and became a very responsible man. It was a good thing that you and I once again talked about things in our lives even if it was a Facebook relationship. I thank you for coming over that Thursday night with your boys. Was it fate? I think so. You were the first to call me Uncle Bubba and you made sure it stuck as cousin after cousin was added to our family. We're going to miss you for a very very long time and even though time will ease the pain we feel right now, you will always be right there in your own way. Goodbye David, I love you.

I just filled one of these out for my Brother and now I'm back again doing it for my little cousin David. Both were way too young. I just moved back to NY to be closer to some family and friends and I met David adn we planned on getting together and doing some catching up. I'll miss you David. Sorry we didn't get to do much and we'll ahve to finish "catching up" later.
