TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE - Jacques J. Cohen, 44, of Poughkeepsie, died Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Orange Regional Medical Center. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on March 19, 1968, he is the son of Hyman and Marcelle Bromberg Cohen. Jacques was a graduate of Dutchess Community College and worked for Xerox as a customer service engineer in Tarrytown, NY. Music was his passion and he owned The Space Recording Studio in Poughkeepsie. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Andre and Lisa Cohen of Hyde Park, NY; His Nephew: Brandon J. Cohen; Aunt& Uncle: Maurice & Geri Bromberg; Aunt: Marcelle Bromberg; Several Cousins; Dear Friend Donna May and many friends. The family would like to have special thanks given to Orange Regional Medical Center for their care and support. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 11:00am at Temple Beth-El, 118 S. Grand Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603 with Rabbi Neal Loevinger officiating. Burial will follow at Temple Beth-El Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the William G. Miller & Son Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
